(1) When searching for criminal assets or instruments, stopping or taking control of such assets or instruments, or determining the value of such assets or instruments, the investigating officer may request necessary assistance from any government agency, local level, organization or person as needed.
(2) If assistance is requested according to sub-rule (1), it shall be the duty of the relevant government agency, local level, organization or individual to provide necessary assistance.
